It's my son's birthday today. This is the first time that I have baked cupcakes with icing. I'm so happy how my cupcakes turned-out!

It's May 1st and it's labor day. I wonder why there's no labor on labor day? :D hahaha! Anyway since it's the first day of the month, it's time for Pinoy Guy Guide to post the latest issue of FHM. For May, we have Jamilla Obispo on the cover. In case you didn't know she was a former PBB Teen housemate :D Image credit: FHM Philippines Comments? Hot or Not?

The last Concubine

One of my submissions in deviantart. If you like the artwork, please don't hesitate to purchase a print. I'd really appreciate it.

As for this so-called art, I am very fond of kimonos and how they are designed. I have a kimono at home but it's just one layer. The inner layer and back then when my mom got it from my dad, she cut a bit of the lower portion as she said it was too long and so it end up being used as a bath robe.

This painting is an inspiration of that (not the bath robe but the kimono itself). I love the patterns that Japanese had created and how it looks so wonderful on a kimono.

The design within the circle on the background is also one of the patterns they use. The colors I chose are also one of the Japanese color combinations. Earthy colors, so to speak.

The girl's skin color is somewhat pale trying to make it lifeless. The "tattoo" from the back of the girl is a dragon. Having tattoos covering their back and extends throughout the body usually indicates that they are part of a group -- a Yakuza. Thus, giving the title some justice.

Online Golf and more

Last Sunday around one o'clock in the morning, I got the chance to talk to Chris and asked him if he's going to church. I then told him that I want to pay a visit and pray to God. It's been so long since I went to church whole heartedly.

We went to a church near our place (Sacred Heart) around six in the evening. The mass ended around seven so we had dinner at chowking. We talked about things that I don't know if it was ok for him to talk about it but he end up telling me anyway. It was about old relationships and things like that. I was just curious about it and didn't think of anything else. I just wanted to know how it ended.

After dinner, he wanted to drop me home quickly because he has something to do with his dad. I asked if it was ok to walk towards my place even if it's a bit too far. Along the way, all that's in my head was blank. All I could do is smile and cherishing that happy feeling.

As I posted the same thing from my blogger. I'd like to thanks Gelo for the wonderful game. It's been a while since I had a talk with friends and I am glad that I had a talk with Gelo while playing pangya.

We talked about my relationship with Chris and funny how my last game turned out. I managed to get at least a -3 score from my usual +6 to +8. haha. I felt relaxed when Gelo asked me things about Chris while it was my turn to putt and almost every time I think about what to say while putting I end up getting a birdie. Should I put a meaning on that? Hahaha!

Gelo asked me something that I couldn't really give an exact answer. As the question goes, "Why? Why am I happy?"

I keep telling him things but he say that those aren't the right answer. I forgot to mention one thing because I was kinda weirded out that my game was getting better. I forgot to say, "I'm happy because I love him."

Is that the right answer? =(^_^)=

Bloggers’ Gimmick Night: Sex, Politics, and the Unbloggables

Posted by Prudence and Madness on Monday, April 30th, 2007 @ 11:01 am in Personal - Philippines.

A string of almost sleepless nights is coming to an end. It all began last Friday night, when bloggers (Me, L.A., Jhed, Joe, Billycoy, Jeff, Darwin, Chris, Apples, JJ, Jester, Aaronjames, Heneroso, utakGAGO, and the queen of the night, Shari) met initially at Yoohoo Metrowalk for an inuman session, only to find out that the place doesn’t serve beer (Awwww! It’s perhaps the only bar and grill resto that doesn’t serve alcoholic beverages). So, the whole gang moved to nearby Dencio’s. And, of course, the favorite topics of the night are SEX and POLITICS (good combination, don’t you think?). And, the favorite word of the night: UNBLOGGABLE!

I’m not going to post a lengthy entry for this one. I don’t have pics and I can’t really add anymore to the numerous posts about it that now exist in the blogosphere, aside from the comments that I’ve left there. And I’m so darn tired from my super inuman session with my highschool classmates during our “After 10″ reunion and from a super toxic duty.

If you want to know what transpired that night, just read the following blog posts:

Ready for Round 2 inuman, bloggers? -) I am, but I need to sleep now. I hope round 2 is already brewing -) .
