I thought the difficulty of deleting the messages was caused by a dysfunctional cellphone knob. After a while, I realized it was because of the fear of having to read through your sweet messages and then, seeing the cold ones that made me not delete those. I still cannot understand how in just a matter of days your love can fade so quickly. I cannot understand why the not so great physical distance between us should remain unconquerable for you and affect you so when it is otherwise for me. In many ways I tried to bridge that gap yet you refuse to believe it will work in the long-run. Rather, you wished that it end before “both of us get hurt”. How can you know when you haven’t tried long enough?
How can I believe you now when you’ve said you’re so sure then but weeks after you weren’t so sure anymore? How can you change your mind so fast? You said it hurt you, too. But how can I believe you if you cannot even make up your own mind?
You met me, unwhole, but at least in a semblance of a whole. Yet now you leave me in pieces again, with me trying to gather and heal myself.
I’ve said that I’m proud of my battle scars. But even the strong can get so tired, after a long, long fight. I don’t know if I can still gather the little pieces that was me.
I’m so damn tired putting up with people who can’t seem to take responsibility for the choices they made.
Before now, when I get bored with my classes, I sleep. Yep. I usually don't give a damn about the professor when I get sleepy. But recently, I don't fall asleep in class anymore. I usually fall asleep suddenly at home but that's not my concern right now. What I do now when I get bored is worse. Much worse than sleeping. Hehehe I copy notes. That's right. Every single written thing on the blackboard (which happens to be green), including the drawings (yes, all those illustrations that apparently, almost no one else copied). I have yet to see if this has yet to continue for the rest of the term. All I know is, those particular notes are really cute! Hahahaha...
Wah! It has been 6 months that I have been smoking heavily. I only smoke occasionally before, but now I manage to smoke at least 8 sticks on an 8 hour shift. Imagine that? Today, I managed to consume 4 sticks in just an hour break. Whoaa. Talking about Healthier Living. I metamorphosed into a [...]
Hello friends… as promised, I’d be releasing updates about Sarah Geronimo’s upcoming album as they happen.
I know it’s been a while since I made the first reveal regarding Sarah’s new album under Viva Records. This update is going to be short but sweet…
Apparently, there are about 30 songs (compositions) right now being carefully previewed and screened for the project and it’ll probably take 2 more weeks to finalize which songs will be included.
I personally have more songs in store which I truly believe would be potential carrier hits for Sarah, BUT I’ve already submitted 3 really good compositions… all of which are carrier single material as well. I’d hate to throw in all of my good songs into one basket and eventually regret it if some of them end up only as “fillers” for the album.
Let me explain further… you see, an album uses only about 3 songs in its whole selection for the purpose of promoting the record. These are what we usually know as “carrier singles”. These are the songs that the record company believe have the best chance of becoming hits. They are also ones that get played over the airwaves… are heard (and seen) on MTV and MYX… and sung by the artist on different television shows.
Each carrier single is given a 3-month “promotional” period to “sell the album”. Effectively, a span of 9 months all in all (3 months x 3 singles).
What happens to the other songs in the album, you ask? Well, they end up being “fillers” - tracks that don’t really get mileage.
You probably understand my sentiment now as to why I ended up submitting only 3 songs for the album. If I felt that I had some compositions which would be “good filler” materials for the project, I would’ve tossed ‘em in already…
Well, that’s all for now. More updates soon… probably sooner than you think. The production of Sarah’s album is slowly gaining considerable momentum and in no time I expect everything to happen in a flurry…
Don’t worry… you’ll get the blow by blow account through my updates…
New month, new cover for FHM Philippines! It's already June and it's the rainy season. What better way to kick-off the dripping wet season than to see Maureen Larrazabal in FHM right?
It's been a while since we last saw her in this mag. Now she's back in more daring photos... I didn't even realize at first that it was her on the cover! Anyway, this girl always reminds me of her TV ad for
Have you checked out Microsoft Surface yet? I don't know about you, but I'm very very excited by this.
It basically is a touch-sensitive computer with form factor of a table. Surface can connect with the Zune, your credit card, and your mobile phone. It can act as a concierge, or a trip organizer. Visit the site to learn more and be amazed. I know I was.
Now if only consumer versions would arrive in our country before I have kids...
There has been a meme, “6 Weird Things About Me”, going around and I really wanted to post it here. But since I have difficulty choosing 6 out of the numerous weird stuff that I do, I chose to post it as my Thursday Thirteen.
13 Weird Things About Me
I’m afraid of Barney
I like eating cold guinataan fresh from the refrigerator. Yum!
Whenever I visit a bookstore, I buy one notebook. Any kind. But I’m especially attracted to cute covers (not covers with pictures of celebrities, please!)
I like the smell of newly autoclaved agar plates
I also like the smell of newly photocopied paper.
I unwrap gifts carefully.
I eat mashed potato with rice.
I don’t like Superman. Batman is the cooler dude!
I don’t like eating pork lechon. It’s weird for me because the rest of my clan are ready to die for a bite of pork lechon.
I LOVE CHEESE. I used to bring slices of cheese with me during my board review. I love cheese so much I’d name my firstborn Cheese.
I don’t like Wowowee or Eat Bulaga, which the whole country finds so entertaining.
I put vinegar and soysauce in my congee.
As a kid, I used to be afraid of rain. What my yaya did was to make me bathe in the rain. After that, I would always want to go outside whenever it rains. Not so true now. Hehe.
私の方法(ほうほう)watashi no houhou (my manner; my way; my means; my technique) My last week's experiences were a godsend. I started working and my first few days were incredible. I think, I found a very suitable office and having a job as a web designer...
