MyLot Vs Yahoo Answers

Posted by Kirbitz on Saturday, July 21st, 2007 @ 8:24 pm in Miscellaneous.

For sometime now, in my ramblings and wanderings on how to increase traffic and earn money on the internet, I always come across the name Mylot. I have always been very curious about this because majority of the money-making blogs that i found had a monthly earning from this site. Though it wasnt in thousands, (nor was it in hundreds btw) i think it's a great site to jump-start your earnings slowly but surely.

Here are some of the Things i like about Mylot.
  • You earn Money from Mylot! Participate in an existing discussion and earn 1 cent. Participate and enhance your reply with photos or videos, thats another cent. Or better yet, start a new interesting discussion and the posibility of earning more money is beyond what you would expect. This is why mylot earns slowly but surely.
  • MyLot is more like a social site like myspace of friendster but is more focused in interaction and discussions thus making the users feel more comfortable. Yahoo Answers dont have this feel. Everything is uptight.
  • Compared to Yahoo! Answers, it is much less strict. You can add your opinions and thoughs without any inhibitions.
  • Mylot is a great way to increase traffic to your site. Well, youre starting a discussion, why not make a discussion that would benefit your blog or site. Like for mine, i startign a discussion about ways of increasing traffic to blogs. And sure enough, everybody has an idea about it and they just cant wait to earn.
  • Mylot makes interaction between members very easy. With myLot, interaction is way better that yahoo answers. You can message someone, you can communicate easier with the enhanced user-interface and ease of use.

After all of this has been said, i would really recommend Mylot to everyone especially those first time earners and those who needs additional earnings.

Join MyLot.

Happy Earning!

Diabetes

Posted by A Bunch of Dreams (Isang Bungkos Na Pangarap) on Saturday, July 21st, 2007 @ 7:49 pm in Miscellaneous.

I feel so much concern with my family especially now that my mother-in-law is fighting for her life at the ICU. It is a well-known fact that diabetes is a grave disease and is increasing at disturbingly alarming rates worldwide. I know that iT is hereditary and it makes me worry a lot especially when I am thinking of my family's health... This brings me to ask that very important question: CAN

Entry #82 - On Another Interesting Saturday

Not a very good day.

"As far as my blog is concerned, today wasnt exactly a day to be happy about."

First of all, i started my day at around 5:30am which is my normal daily routine especially if i have classes.(As a nursing student, its more like EVERYDAY!) I checked on my blog and i was delighted to see that on my second day, i got 36 blog total views and 25 page views. This was according to bumpzee. And i said to myself, "wow, im doing great!" Well, this made my day thinking that the same result would happen today. Not exactly.

After coming home at around 12mn, (dont get surprised now. It was the college's general assembly and i had dinner with my girlfriend.) It just broke my heart when i saw this report both from bumpzee and sitemeter : blog total: 6, Page views : 4. :(

This wasnt what i was expecting at all! With this, i remembered the words of my former jesuit teacher, basketball team-mate and advisor: "Failures are made to make you grow stronger. Live with it." Enough said, i would just look at the bright side of life. After all, in blogging, nothing is for certain. Everything in this world is uncertain as a matter of fact as what i metioned on my previous post. I guess i just have to call it a day and move on.

Here are some of the things i worked on yesterday:
  • I added my blog as an affiliate of affiliatebot. From now on, youll see ads from them. I added the dating sites since they are approved immediately after you apply. Join a dating site.
  • I made slashMySearch as my homepage and use it as my search engine. Guess what? I earned $0.025 without doing nothing at all! I never even used opened a search today. Now, that's what you call easy money. Its just a small amount, bout only time will tell. Join SlashMySearch.
  • I listed myself on associatedcontent and im planning to write my first article if i have time. Hopefully by tomorow. I know a blogger who gets his major revenue from this site. He earns $50-$150 a month just by writing good and original articles. Join Associatedcontent.
  • Added my blog to blogcatalog.

Well, i guess i whould call it a day now. I hope the things i did would be of my benefit in the coming days and weeks.

"Be strong and move on!" - This is my motto for today.

goodbye for now. . . hear from you soon!

Transformers YAY!

I cancelled practice today because EJ, the trombone player, Mimi, and Jackie won’t make it YET AGAIN. My patience is almost at its limit. Please don’t let me get pissed off at you guys. It’s not only you who has to make to make sacrifices of your time. -_- I then spent my afternoon sleeping, surfing the net, checking emails, and installing Adobe Flash Pro CS3. The latter was unsuccessful. The setup file kept looking for the CD installer in which, I believe, wasn’t supposed to be asked for. I might have to buy the CD tomorrow. What’s the trial download for, Adobe!? GRRR~ You just wasted my precious download time.

Ack, I didn’t know that Ayumi Hamasaki and Nagase Tomoya dated. I only found out after reading this news regarding their break-up. I’m that behind. XP But I just knew of Nagase Tomoya after watching Tiger & Dragon recently. If I didn’t watch that, I wouldn’t have seen that pretty boy. *_* I must see more dramas with him in it.

Ugly Overload — the counterpart of Cute Overload. You should see this axolotl. It doesn’t look ugly to me. ^_^V

Airliner crashes in flames in São Paulo — It’s scary to think that this could happen. Tsk~

I stayed up until 6AM last Thursday to read the Transformers (2007) movie prequel and adaptation comics. :3 Mac, Maru, and I finally got to watch the movie the day before. I surfed about Transformers in the net when I got home and discovered that there’s a comic sequel to the movie. Thank goodness for BT. XD There are only 4 issues in both the prequel and movie adaptation. The script in the movie adaptation is slightly different. There weren’t much humor compared to the movie. But both are great to me except for the kissing scene in the movie comic adaptation. This gave me goosebumps:

Kissing scene
>_>

Transformers - Official Movie Prequel Issue #1 is available for download via this link. If you intend to share the file, please forward them to my site or this post. The zip file is password-protected btw. The password is hyukta.net.

I’ve started watching Lucky Star a few days ago. ^_^ I’m already on episode 8 and will watch episode 9-10 later. Maybe episode 11 too once my download is done. Download speed has gone really slow recently. It’s only fast around 3AM. Because of that, I haven’t downloaded much lately. *sighs* I feel like I’m behind on a lot of anime and manga.

A sms pranskter sent me a message last week about winning a Toyota Altis + Php300,000. I deleted the message, but I remember he/she said I won last May 14, 2007 as a homepartner. O_o This is annoying. The first time I got this, the message stated that I won last April 21, 2007. XP Then I got a text from Angel Santillian asking for monetary help, so she could go to the city and get the job she was offered in Ortigas. My Mom got a message like that years ago. I think I did too. There’s also another text message inviting me to a Strategic Marketing Conference. Whoever’s selling out numbers should be beat up. GRRR~ Isn’t it enough that we already get spam in our email/s? Why through sms too!? XP Aside from Pinoys with nothing to do and sending out stupid SMS, I heard about a swindler using Friendster. GMA’s Saksi covered it. You can watch the video here. The news is in Filipino, btw. If there really is a need to send money to other people, send it via Western Union. Have it for pick-up. WU will have to ask for an ID, right? That method is safer somehow.

Miyabi’s new look? She’s now sporting a cornrow and also got her eyebrow/s shaved. O_O

Elite Beat Agents = EBA = Extremely Bewildering and Addicting

Posted by GadgetSpotter on Saturday, July 21st, 2007 @ 8:02 am in Technology.

Well, not exactly bewildering for the most part, but yes, it is extremely addicting. A lot of my friends started playing this game. And I do mean quite a bit. But what is elite beat agents anyway?

First of all, EBA is not a game recommended for the rhythm challenged since the game revolves around you tapping, sliding and swirling onto the beat. Kind of like the Dance Dance Revolution series for the playstation and the PC.

EBA revolves around "Agents" that go around helping people by dancing well, eventually encouraging the people to do well in their plight. Its funny really. Since most of the cases deal with humorous situations like saving a kid from a golem, celebrities standed on a desert island, and the like. But there is a song that is more dramatic in its story. About a girl losing her father while you tap around to the tune of "You're the Inspiration".

This game isn't the first of its kind however, there is also a similar game in Japan which was released earlier called Moero Nekketsu Rhythm Damashi Osu Tatakae Ouendan as well as its second installment (just add a 2). Same principle, different songs. And since you aren't more likely to understand the songs unless you are Japanese, I won't ask if you'd rather stick to EBA.

As of date, there have been rumors of an EBA2 in the mix. Who knows? There might be. DS and DS Lite users, I leave only one word of advice. This is not a game to be taken lightly as it is very easy to scratch your DS while playing this game. Invest in a good screen protector. For the Philippine market, there are a lot of protectors out there, ranging from as low as 80 pesos to as much as 400 pesos. If you want details on where to buy them (if you really really need it), feel free to contact me at my e-mail address listed below. But most likely, you already know where to find it. Hehe...

By the way, the reason why I recommend the protector is because without it, gadgetspotter would be a very sad DS player. Yep, the protector is already scratched. But better that than the screen right?

Jewel in the Palace

Posted by HyukTa.net on Saturday, July 21st, 2007 @ 7:55 am in Personal - Philippines.

I forgot how I got this PDF file, but this seems to be a complete summary or description of all the episodes of Jewel in the Palace. I thought I’d upload and share it before I delete it from my HD. P

Oh, just so you know I’m not into Korean series that much (that means I haven’t seen nor do I plan on watching Jewel in the Palace). Goong is only an exception. XD
