Kirbitz August Activity Update

Posted by Kirbitz on Thursday, August 9th, 2007 @ 11:01 pm in Miscellaneous.

This week has been so hectic for me that i have dozens of pending activies unmet. I had to burn my butt off over at dunkin donuts for the whole night just to study for my exams. And well, only time will tell about how i did on my exams. . .

Moving on, inspite of the sked that i had, i managed to complete some offers from blogsvertise. I managed to make 3 from them at $2 each but its still unpaid though. You can see my first ever sponsored post here. My blog also got accepted at sponsoredreviews. Ive noticed that they have the option of free-writing a post and then submit it to sponsors. And what sets it apart is that you make the bid on how much you want to be paid with each post. This, i think, is what separates them from the rest and im looking forward for a beneficial endeavors with this site soon. I think ill make a review about sponsoredreviews some time in the future so do watch out for that one.

In connection with sponsored posts, Kirbitz has been denied membership from Azoogle ads. They are only accepting sites who doesnt have a free site sponsor like blogger or wordpress. Im referring to those sites that end with a .com or a .net . Well, its ok. Maybe when i have my blog as kirbitz.com that would be cool. Not in the near future i suppose. ;)

I also encountered a dilemma this week. I just realized that Paypal is not yet available in the Philippines and i joined quite a number of sites that pays through paypal. My friend, Lady from SpaceofInfluence, advised me on this one. Much Thanks lady! I will attend to this one this week.

I made some plans for my pagerank performance. As you can see, my PR is still on n/a status. I a m going to make reviews in exchange for backlinks from other high-PR ranks. I made up connections with Carl from carlocab.com and melody from Marriedmelody.

Do watch out for my post about Paying sites. Im starting to do reviews of paying sites from the well established ones to the new-kid-from-the-block sites.

I Do

Posted by A Day In The Life... on Thursday, August 9th, 2007 @ 1:05 pm in Miscellaneous.

I recently stumbled upon a new video on You Tube featuring one talented singer named “KazMills” who happens to belong to a bunch of emerging singers/musicians such as Esmee Denters and MrPitifulBand.

Over at KazMills’ You Tube page, she recently uploaded a video of herself singing a composition she wrote entitled, “I Do”, which I absolutely loved listening to!

I’d like to share the video with you guys cause good songs just shouldn’t be kept to one’s self… the lyrics to her song is posted below the video.  Enjoy!

“I DO”

When I see you now… What I see is
A shadow of what we could have been.

Something better than we’d already seen.

When I see you now… Should I be
Holding on to what you did to me?

Yes I should. But forgive me.
Letting go doesn’t happen easily.

CHORUS:

And if it seems, Like I care for you,
Memories are hard to see through.
And if it seems, Like I need you,
That will just be deja vu.
And if it seems like I miss you,
It’s cos I do.

When you see me now… What d’you see?
Do you see the one who was once a dream?

Do you see why you let go of me?

When you see me now… Possibly
Could you try to hide your sparkling wedding ring?

When you see me now… I hope it hurts

(Chorus)

When did we fall apart?  When did we start living this lie?

Sometimes it feels like we’re living in a dream that’s not our’s.
And I want to wake up.

And if it seems,  Like I care for you,
It’s cos you want me to.
And if it seems,  Like I need you,
It’s cos you want me to.
And if it seems like I miss you,
It’s cos I do.

Fruit Trip

Posted by Batang Yagit on Thursday, August 9th, 2007 @ 10:36 am in Personal - Philippines.

Hinintay muna namin ni Kuya Omar na matapos sila Henelsie at Joanna sa kanilang ginagawa before we left the campus.

Four persons, two laptops, one useless umbrella, one strong rain, five kilometers to travel, one bumpy and rocky road, one driver and one habal-habal. Get the picture?

*inaantok na ako at this point while writing this post*. May Durian, Marang, Lanzones, Rambutan at Saging.

* habal-habal - motorcycle which can accommodate to as much as 5 persons. It is usually used in the rural areas.

If there's one person I'd like to see a a few years from now, I am sure it would be Emma Watson. Only around 17, she has grown from an ordinary kid like this (on the left): Image source: Exposay to a beautiful young lady like this: Image source: Exposay See, I'm not into girls younger than me. The youngest I would like would be 2-3 years below my age probably 18 but Emma, 17, is just an

With a cast that will blow your mind, and based off a book that took an epic ride through one of the greatest times of comic history, Justice League: the New Frontier is going to be a movie like no other.

Written by Stan Berkowitz, with Darwyn Cooke (author of the award winning six issue limited series serving as the basis for the movie) serving as story and visual consultant, the New Frontier is scheduled for release late January 2008.
