Agloco is the way to go!

Posted by Kirbitz on Saturday, August 11th, 2007 @ 11:08 pm in Miscellaneous.

What is Agloco?

Agloco, which stands for A-GlObal-COmmunity is a well, global community (lol) that is owned 100% by the members. Its done by downloading a negligible toolbar taht displays ads from google. And for it, youll get paid maximum of 5 hours each month while using it. Its currently bringing a big bang around the internet right now and i decided to make a post about it. For all the old-aged internet users (no harm intended), remember AllAdvantage? it raised nearly $200 Million in venture capital and grew to more than 10 million members in its first 18 months of operation. Well, the same people are bringing it back to life and its now your chance to be paid along with millions of other members.

What do I earn from Agloco?

By joining Agloco, youll have two ways of getting paid. Either by check/cash or by shares in the company and you have the option of redeeming your money when you want to in the future if you wish to take the chances with Agloco. It is projected that each member will earn around $5-$15 per month depending on the revenue that Agloco makes from ads. And theres a bonus each time you refer a member to Agloco which would earn you more money per sign-up each month. So, if you refer a member now, this will be added to your earnings next month.

What do i Have to do?

Simple. Register, Download the toolbar, Use it 5 hours a month. And that's it! You have an extra bucks a Month. And for an added bonus, refer members to agloco (this is perfect for bloggers) for even More earnings each month. Imagine having each referral as $5 a month, and for a month, you refer 20 people. That would make you $100 richer each month!

Layered tops for the rainy season

Posted by Pinoy Guy Guide on Saturday, August 11th, 2007 @ 9:23 pm in Lifestyle.

While I am aware that this style is not new and has long been the trend (up to now), I can't help but feature it in Pinoy Guy Guide. This is because it is the rainy (and stormy) season so it's somewhat timely to wear clothes such as these to help keep you warm: Long-sleeves inside, short sleeves outside and that's it. Just make sure that the colors of the two individual shirts blend well to

Hahaha! Have you seen this picture before? I bet you have. This is not a case where an instrument was left inside after an operation. I friend of mine once had a patient swallow a piece of battery along with other objects. What they did was they proceeded with an enema and out comes the battery. Yuck! Nurses encounter odd stuff in the hospitals. We love our profession! Article copyright

No one listened, no one cared

Posted by Batang Yagit on Saturday, August 11th, 2007 @ 9:25 am in Personal - Philippines.

I am aching inside
I am in pain
No one listens
No One cares

I pleaded
I asked for help
Still no one listens
Still no one cares

I went out
I left
Because no one listens
Because no one cares

I am alone
I am afrain
No one listens
No one cares

I screamed
Yet I was not heard
'Cause no one listened
'Cause no one cared

I jumped into the abyss
I killed myself
Because no one listened
Because no one cared.

The World at Your Fingertips

Every time we fly to Manila, we always stop by Sydney for at least an overnight stay so we can have a bit of sightseeing and rest before our long flight of eight hours. Without that, it would more or less translate to eleven hours of travelling from Canberra. I think it's still a lot cheaper than the three of us flying from Canberra.

About ten years ago, this meant doing your research using the phone directory. The obvious limitation using the phone directory is that some needed information like their prices, ratings and promos are not readily available. And after doing your research, you have to haggle with hotels to get the best price. On top of that, phone directories of your intended destination require you to go to the town library. Okay, maybe you can use a travel agent to do all that but sometimes it also mean queuing up in the line just to talk to a cranky agent working on a weekend.

Internet has changed all that. With a click of a button, you will be provided with choices of the most competitive priced hotels available of your preferred destination. In fact, the website Hotel Reservations goes a step further. It offers "the whole deal." Literally, a comparative list of the best possible vacation packages (e.g., flight + hotel + car) from over 1410 destinations is just one click away. Comparing that to what you have 10 years ago makes you appreciate the great value of internet in our daily lives.

Personally, I still choose well the websites I deal with. That means it should have good support in case something happens. HotelReservations.com is a good bet when it comes to that because you can contact them whether you are in the US, Australia, or Europe. Then they also have this neat link where you can get some information about possible road trips just by putting a zip code. It is small things like these that give them a bit of an edge over their competitors. I went to see their hotel price range using Sydney as my destination. It came up with a reasonably priced list comparable to other websites. But unlike other websites, they offer a special internet rate price guarantee through their Affiliate Network where they will match any internet offers for the same date and same hotel. Now that for me puts my mind at ease knowing that I will get a good deal here. But if you are still having second thoughts about getting the best deal there is, remember you can change or cancel your reservations without charge. So feel free to surf but make sure to choose well your waves, so to speak.

Victimized!

Yes, out of all the people in the entire world, we had to be the chosen one. Allow me to be more specific. Last Wednesday evening, J brought home some bad news. Part of our car's window (that small triangular piece) in the backseat on the right side was broken. It looked like someone intentionally smashed it, with the objective of stealing something within or probably the car itself. J didn't notice it until he was at the petrol station where it's well lighted.

We think that the perpetrator/s could have been drug addicts, out to steal whatever they can so that they can afford to get their regular fix of drugs. Or they could have maliciously done it for no apparent reason, maybe just for the fun of it. In other words, napag-tripan lang yung kotse namin. Our car was parked outdoors (therefore no security cams, etc) at that time so there is no way for us to catch the bad guys.

And since it is something that we just can't ignore, J had to take the car this morning to have the window repaired. *sigh* There goes 120 bucks down the drain. :(

JumpStart your PageRank

Posted by Kirbitz on Saturday, August 11th, 2007 @ 1:07 am in Miscellaneous.

Do you own a blog? If yes, then you might be well oriented about rankings of alexa, technorati, and just recently, Google PageRank. If your answer to the question is no, well, this serves as an additional knowledge for you as a reader to gauge how the bloggers work under the background of our blogs.

Ive seen this feature on enkay's blog. You remember the MP3 contest i entered? Yes, it was his idea. I thought about giving his pagerank promotion a try. And well, here it is. . .

Some notes of guidance:
  • Use the right click + "view page source" way of copying the whole thing applicable for both IE and Mozilla. Also, use CTRL + F to quickly find "start copying here" if your using Mozilla. Its much easier that way. ;)
  • Dont forget to notify the bloggers you added to this list.
  • Comment on this post if you added this to your blog and i will directly add you and get a backlink from Kirbitz.
  • GoodLuck on the next PR release! ;)

** Start Copy Here **

We all know how important getting link backs is and with this chain, you can get the ball rolling! You don’t have to be an established blogger to take part in this chain.

Here are the rules:

1. Copy this post from the point where it says “Start Copy Here” to the point where it says “End Copy Here”

2. Add yourself and 5 of your favorite bloggers to the end of the list.

3. Post this on your blog

**End Copy Here**

As of now, i added some of my friends in the blogosphere. Lady, Silken, Jehz and Batang Yagit.

I do hope that they are going to take part in this PR promotion as this will only bring a Win-Win situation to all of us.

This promotion is not only intended for high-ranked blogs only. This is for the "quantity" side of increasing your pagerank. So if youre thinking about getting more offers, more money from Paid posts like PayperPost, blogsvertise or ReviewMe, Then this is a step closer to that.

GoodLuck!
