I think I’ve been watching too much TV. It was about that narration of a woman continuously overshadowing the events of a day… the endless blabbering of someone who thinks she has so much insight into human nature… the eternal wondering out loud…
So here goes:
It hit me. I was supposed to be moving on. It was a good turning point. I am officially out of the student way. I am a newly-licensed physician who has to make real life work. The timing has always given me enough distractions to help with my moving on… then, there he was offering me a nice doctor’s “stamp”. That stamp you’d have to use in every prescription or probably every order that you’d have to make each and every day. Stamp. Stamp. Stamp. I was terrified at the whole idea of being reminded of him everyday. He insisted on giving me the stamp.
I told him, “you really like torturing me, huh?”
He said, “No. You’ll forget it. And when you find a new lover, then trash it…”
It just struck me. It was charity stamped all over it. The stamp will keep me company, while I’m still feeling so…
Damn. I’m a sad story. I guess, it is time to trash that little sad part… for real.
Here, let me get an “urgent” stamp on that.

I’m back from outerspace. Or shall I say, “earth-dwelling”, in the words of my Twitter friend, Kevin M. Keating. That’s not entirely true though since I have been finding the time to update my other blogs. Mea culpa.
I’m still in the process of defining what it is I want to say here on my WordPress. I revamped my categories to free me from my self-imposed restrictions. Out of all the blogs I maintain, I feel that here is where I want to be the most “serious”. Then again, one should not take oneself too seriously. Life is too short.
Before I jump back into The Radio Files series that was rudely interrupted by life and work, there’s one topic I wanted to go off on. Countless blogs from the Philippines and Filipinos all over the globe have contributed to the space in cyberspace labelled “Malu Fernandez Hatred“. I wanted to put my two centavo thoughts into the fray.

If the faux-spooky feeling that the animals could pounce at you any time isn't enough reason to pay for the cab ride out there, the tram tour guides' overly dramatic delivery delivery definitely is. Anyway, if you're already planning to go to the Singapore Zoo, you might as well include the Night Safari in your itinerary as it is just next door.
The Singapore Night Safari is the first zoo where you can creep around in the dark and spy on tigers, elephants, lions and numerous smaller four-legged surprises, carefully lit by just enough light for us see them but for them to still think it's night time. It's a unique experience, so instead of wandering around a normal zoo during the daytime and watching weary creatures snoozing in the corner, you can see what their doing at night.
I suggest you take the tram ride first when they open at 6 pm to get a feel of the dark environment. After the ride, immediately queue up for the Creatures of the Night Show. The show is postponed when it's raining. You can spend the rest of the night exploring the trails that you will see during the tram ride. If it's raining, you'll miss the show and you can't explore the trails and you won't be able to see the animals up close.Posted by HyukTa.net on Saturday, August 18th, 2007 @ 1:15 am in Personal - Philippines.
