I started going out to the gym yesterday with my buddies. I used my
earnings from blogging to enroll myself in a 3-month gym program. It was not a serious one actually since these buddies already finished their licensure examination, they might not be doing anything aside from their work. So they decided to go to the gym to trim down their bodies because they earned weight after our durian trips in the city. They invited me to go with them and for no concrete reason, I agreed.
We were a bit nervous at first since we are still gym neophytes. (hahahaha). We don't have idea which equipment to use, what to do and where to go. Thank God the people there are accomodating. (I have to mention Mating, the front desk girl who accompanied us) So we were assigned to a gym instructor Tophe.
Kuya Tophe was the one who taught us which equipment to use. We had a cardio exercise, legs, arms and back exercise. I hate the machine for tricep and bicep exercise. It made my muscles tremble. Whew. It's not bad for first time though.
Anyway, one of my buddies texted me this morning asking me what time we are going this afternoon. I guess she's excited. Lol.
P.S. I found one classmate who goes to the same gym. At least I have someone to go with when these buddies are at work.

Making money from your blog is "in" now. I know some
people who were successful in monetizing their blogs. Barely a month ago, I applied into this
Blog to Profit program which was referred to me by
Kai. After a week of blogging, I was able to earn a few hundreds.
So how does this Blog To Profit idea work?
SEO. The internet traffic today is mostly driven by search engine referrals. People look for content inside the search engine instead of memorizing domain names or URLs. When a consumer needs to purchase something, he/she would rather search the search engine than look for the URL of the seller who would most likely sell that product. This is the reason why search engine marketing and
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) comes into the picture. Sellers and marketers would want their content to be on top of the search engine's results. How do they do this? Linking.
How does linking relate to Blog to Profit?
Blog to Profit works this way.
- Blot to Profit accepts link jobs from advertisers and marketers.
- Blog to Profit distributes these link jobs to their publishers (like me)
- Publishers make blog entries
- Publishers include the link job in each of his entries
- Publishers get paid for each link posted in his blog
Though the system works that easy, there are still some considerations to be considered before they could accept your website in their program. They must first consider your blog's PR. Second is the search engine listing of your blog. Third is the relevance of your blog. Lastly, they also consider the platform of the blog you are using. (they don't accept Blogger Blogs).
After the deadline, the company will transfer the money to your bank account or deposit it on Western Union. I prefer the former since it won't give you any hassle of going to a Western Union branch just to claim your prize.
Just a while ago, I registered for
Bidvertiser to replace
my banned AdSense account.

Are you looking to make money online? Do you envy bloggers who earn qu amount of money through Paypal? Do you ever lite a significantinger on earning more from your blog? Do you live in a country not affiliated to Paypal? If all your answers to these questions is yes, then we are on the same team my friend.
PayPal is an e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. It serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods such as checks and money orders
. PayPal performs payment processing for online vendors, auction sites, and other corporate users, for which it charges a fee. However, its not available in majority of the countries including well, unfortunately, the Philippines.
I may just have the solution for this problem
Ive read it on the article by
Yuga and i decided to impart this information to you if youre living in a Non-Paypal fully approved country (You can refer
here to know the status of Paypal in your country.)
I call it Registering via Proxy. It involves a friend, a relative or anyone whom you trust who currently resides in a paypal approved country like the US or Canada. You might also want them to verify the registration through a US bank account and wait until it gets approved after a couple of days. Do take note that the IP address is being recorded and taken into consideration so make sure they will make the transactions for you for the first few weeks.
Try to sign up from your location and expect to receive some confirmation messages like asking about pertinent infos your relatives supplied them when they signed up so its a pretty good idea to take note about the datas given by your relatives.
Once you do this for sometime, the server would get used to it and think that "its just a US citizen vacationing".
Remember these things too:
- Not to use your account frequently - Once or twice a week will suffice.
- Empty your account often - Buy something from e-bay or make a bank transfer as soon as possible. This is to avoid the "untoward consequence" that your account may face.
- Get your relatives to open the account once in a while - This is to balance the usage so the server wouldnt be very suspicious.
- This method is not legit and just a way for the less fortunate like me to avail of Paypal.
Enjoy your Earnings!
I hope this article helped you in a way. Do always remember to
Feed Your Greed!

Everyone knows me as the workaholic. I'm snobbish and aloof, not because I am socially unpolite, but because I am consumed in thinking about my work, and everything work related. At daytime, I work on full time as the Technical Team Head, and at night, I sneak out a portion of my time to write and/or work on some freelance job.
Machines need Resting
Lately, things have not been the same. I've just completed one big project about a month ago, and I haven't really gotten paid from that endless year's toil. I hate it when that happens. I'm starting to take a steady step towards valuing my time and health. Its true that when you stop to take a rest when the rest of the ToDos are piling up is just as painful as procrastinating, but its also resting.
As most PC addicts may have noticed, the PC bogs down under stress too. I've encountered a lot of hardware hiccups from my own fast and suave workstation myself... and these hiccups happen only when we were both under stress. One of my hard disks bogged down, and the memory chip feels like its wearing away each time. It felt like each time the PC was giving up on me, it wanted to tell me we were both tired and needed some rest. So, get a hint. Machines get tired, all the more we humans do.

When I write my post for the day, I do it on the same day the post will be published. This has been effective for me until I had days where I can’t even touch my blog since I may be outside of the house or doing some schoolwork (thesis). Remember my blog hiatus last week where I traveled to Iloilo, I was on the road for nearly 24hours and with no access to a computer. Obviously, there were also no posts for those days and that’s something I wish to avoid.
This has been a problem for me since I want to blog on a consistent basis. Due to my current way of writing my articles, I can’t do this so I looked around for some solutions to this problem…
The Solution? I’m glad wordpress offers Post Scheduling.
Post Scheduling is a feature on Wordpress that allows you to edit the time when a published will be published. (Just like how you can manipulate the time of death using the death note hehe)
When is post scheduling useful?
- You will be going on a vacation on a deserted island with no access to a computer. Your blog will still publish your posts even if you are not there.
- Your creative juices starts to overflow today and you have many ideas that you want to blog about.
- You want to publish a post at the same time consistently
So if you are in one of these situations, I’m sure that post scheduling will be helpful to you so let me show you how. ^_^
How to schedule your posts in wordpress?
Step 1 : Write your posts as you usually would but DON’T on publish yet.
Step 2 : Set the time and date when you want the post to be published. (Example here shows that the post will be published at 430pm so even if I click publish now at 230pm, it won’t show up on the blog unless it’s already 445pm)

Step 3: Publish your post!
You are done!
Can I do this on Blogger?
I’m afraid you can’t. Although blogger offers a way for you to set the time when the post will be published, it will still show up on your blog the moment you clicked published. For example, I will set the post to be published on “September 1, 2008″ but the moment I click on published, it will show on the blog dated “September 1, 2008″. I guess the only use for post scheduling in Blogger is to order the posts chronologically.
**Now to show you an example, this post will be published at 445pm GMT +8! ^_^

This guy was a 20-year old UP student…a GRADUATING STUDENT. But now, since he’s been a victim of the senseless and barbaric practice of hazing in initiation rites in a fraternity, he’s not going to graduate anymore. Nor would he worry about graduating because the potential to be a productive individual in the society has been forcibly taken from him by his supposed “brothers”.
For the news about his death, read here.
As I’ve said in my comments in other posts, I am very much against this practice of hazing in fraternities and sororities. It’s enough that I’ve seen it’s terrible potential for destruction when I was still in high school CAT. Yes, I’ve gone through it alive. But I will always remind myself that if given the chance to put a stop to such practice, then I will do something about it.
All the more troubling is that a doctor was involved in this initiation rite. While it is not surprising since I’ve already heard tons of rumors about private hospital rooms even being held in reservation just for post-initiation rites casualties, it is still an embarrassment to the medical profession that a doctor would participate in something like this. Doctors are supposed to heal or at least make dying as comfortable as possible, not hasten it.
Where is the sense in hurting a person both physically and psychologically just to let him join your group or organization? What is the rationality of treating your brothers with such violence? This practice of hazing is barbaric at its very core, disguised as “tradition”. But will we let tradition rule us when we know IT IS UNETHICAL AND CRIMINAL?
I hope the people responsible for his death will be caught, tried, and punished for what they have done. As Ms. Noemi said, it will not bring back those who have died but it will protect those who are to become its victims.
Let’s all hope that justice be served for Cris Mendez and for all those who died such a senseless death.
Spread the word…(other posts about it):

It's not that I rarely see these things nowadays. Heck, a lot of street corners have them. Gadget knockoffs which seemingly look like a different (notably more popular) product to sell more items. I guess it helps a bit. But enough of that, lets get down to business.
In one of my midday walks down the gadget-aisles in a mall, what have I stumbled upon? It has a similar font to the Sony version. But it definitely doesn't look anything like a Sony product I know.
Enter then, the PGP. At first glance, it looks like. Well, a handheld gaming device.

Well, it sort of does. The button layout seems to dictate it so. But then again, the label says its a
Portable MP4 MP3 Game Player. So it should do more right? Oh. And did anyone notice the way PGP looks like at the bottom of the device?
The number of people prevented me from having a look at this device. Although from past experiences, here is what I assume (so far):
expandable memory
ROM games (most likely NES games)
so-so music capabilities
I'll try to update this if I get any more news. Till then, I'll leave this at that.
