Posted by on Friday, November 9th, 2007 @ 10:38 pm in Personal - Philippines.

At dahil dine-in, stainless steel spoon and fork ang gagamitin.

What? Hindi ba hinugasan ‘to? Hindi ba nila inayos ang paghugas nito?

Nagmadali akong bumaba para humingi ng plastic spoon and fork. I leaned over the counter to catch the crew’s attention at pinansin naman nila ako. Sabi ko, “Can I have a plastic pair of spoon and fork?“.

Binigyan niya ako ng new pair of plastic spoon and fork.

Sa pangyayaring ito, I swear, I won’t eat at Jollibee Bajada anymore.

Marimar still #1 rated show in the Philippines

Posted by Filipino Cultured - Art, Entertainment, Culture & Inspiration Blog on Friday, November 9th, 2007 @ 7:56 pm in Entertainment.

TV Ratings (Nov. 5–8): "Marimar" tightens its grip while "Deal or No Deal" falls short two weeks in a row

Marimar is evidently a tough customer to beat. For the entire week, the soap opera starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes was taking a walk in the park while other primetime shows lagged behind in the rating margins.

TV Ratings (Nov. 5–8): "Marimar" tightens its grip while "Deal or No Deal" falls short two weeks in a row

"Let them bite the dust," Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes may as well boast. Marimar once again dominated the primetime race this week with a remarkable margin.

Last Monday, November 5, the local adaptation of the popular Mexican telenovela tallied a 46.8 percent rating, with closest rival Zaido coming in second with 39 percent. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday were no different as Marimar collected 45.6, 46 percent, and 45.5 percent, respectively. Marimar is the only program this week to reach the 40-plus peak in terms of viewership.

While the primetime bracket was ruled by one program, Whammy! Push Your Luck, Kung Mahawi Man ang Ulap, and Daisy Siete took turns occupying the top spot in the daytime battle.

The tandem of Paolo Bediones and Rufa Mae Quinto was on to a hot start as they collected a rating of 26.5 percent last Monday, November 5, to nip the others. Kung Mahawi Man ang Ulap, however, bounced back to reclaim the lead the following day, November 6, thanks to its 22.5 percent rating which was good enough to keep Pasan Ko ang Daigdig's 21.8 percent rating at bay.

Whammy! grabbed the No. 1 spot once again Wednesday, November 7, with 24.4 percent. But yesterday, November 8, it was Daisy Siete's turn to grab the top post with 23.7 percent.

For the second week in a row, Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal came close in snatching the throne from its rivals. Last Wednesday, November 7, Kris Aquino's game show garnered a 23.6 percent clip to finish second behind Whammy! If this trend continues, expect the supposed rivalry between Kris Aquino and Rufa Mae Quinto to be stirred up once more by the rumormongers.

TV Patrol World also performed well particularly last Monday, tailing behind archrival 24 Oras to take the No. 4 spot overall with its 31.1 percent.

Vhong Navarro's Lastikman, in the meantime, reappeared inside the Top 10 yesterday, November 8, after three days of being a no-show. For Thursday, Lastikman achieved a 21.1 percent rating, tying Ysabella for the last spot.

Here are the Top 1o shows for daytime and primetime programming from November 5 to 8 according to the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households:

Consider This…

Have you ever considered joining the paid posting bandwagon? If you haven’t yet, I suggest you should!

Blogging for money has never been so easy. All you need to do is write a few paragraphs about the assigned link. As to the type of write-up, that depends on the advertiser’s preferences. If your articles get approved, then you are on your way to earning those dollars. Just make sure you sign up with companies who have a good track record and are known to pay their bloggers on time. It also helps if their support team is can be easily contacted in case you have questions about certain opportunities.

Take a look at it this way. If you are a regular blogger like me, then might as well get paid to blog. And what better time than to start now. The Christmas season is nearing and we all need the extra cash for our holiday shopping. There is really nothing to lose if you ask me. :)
